GRAPHICDESIGNER

The ideal candidate will have strong creative skills and a portfolio of work which demonstrates their passion for illustrative designs, photoshop, video editing and typography.

 

The Graphic Designer job description includes the entire process of defining requirements, visualizing and creating graphics including illustrations, logos, layouts and photos. You’ll be the one to shape the visual aspects of websites, Social Media Banners/Videos, product packaging, exhibitions and more.

Responsibilities

  • Web page design & development + Creation of graphics/banners for the online & offline mediums

  • Proven graphic designing experience.

  • A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics.

  • A keen eye for aesthetics and details.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines.

  • Study design briefs and determine requirements.

  • Conceptualize visuals based on requirements.

  • Prepare rough drafts and present ideas.

  • Develop illustrations and other designs using related software.

  • Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic.

  • Work with copywriters and business team to produce final design.

  • Test graphics across various media.

  • Amend designs after feedback.

  • Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand.

Skills / Expertise

  • Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Coral Draw)

  • Expertise in digital illustration, photo editing software & web page design & creation tools.

  • Hands on usage of Web related tools & Adobe - Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premier etc. used in graphical content creation & web pages.

  • Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field is a plus would be preferred

  • Video creation and editing will be an added advantage

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field

  • Minimum 2 + years of experience in graphic design & web

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite

  • Strong communication, conceptual thinking, typography skills and design skills
